Vertical conveyors

Vertical conveyors – either “elevators” or “lowerators” are used in production lines to overcome height differences between different levels. Compared to inclined conveyors they are more compact in size. They are most often used in the production of beverages for the transport of empty or full packaging (cans, bottles, PET bottles,…). We also offer variants that are suitable for the transport of crates.

Transport is performed using two parallel chains with special grips that “grip” the packaging which they then safely transfer to a higher or lower level towards the exit of the machine. Adjustable chain spacing and adjustable input / output conveyor heights allow adjustment to different dimensions and types of packaging. All vertical conveyors are adapted to the needs and requirements of the customer (height difference, hourly capacity, type of packaging, …).

The robust base construction of the machine is distinguished by the sanitary design made out of stainless steel, profiles and a protection layer made of acrylic window, which offers a view into the machine and access to key areas for adjustment, cleaning and maintenance. All installed components are made to the highest quality standard and require a minimum level of maintenance. Moreover, the machine is primarily equipped with an automated lubrication system, which ensures optimal functioning and makes the machine very durable.

The functioning of the machine is automated (it’s also possible to automatically adjust the distance between the chains, for different formats). The machine is controlled via a panel located on the local electrical cabinet.
