Shelf life is one of the most important parameters of any food, especially one that is present on the global market on a daily basis. Natural durability usually does not last longer than a few days, so food manufacturers decide to add preservatives or a more health-friendly thermal processing that ensures the desired shelf life.
In Petek Proces we also produce cooling tunnels with a retention zone at pasteurization temperature. The basic purpose of using a cooling tunnel is to provide the organoleptic characteristics (taste, color, aroma, etc.) for products that are hot filled.
A common issue that we face in the beer, wine and carbonated products production is condensation, which is the result of very cold filling. Condensation that occurs on the packaging hinders labeling, packaging or causes corrosion of caps or other metal parts on the packaging.
A hybrid tunnel is a tunnel that combines 2 or more functions in one machine. This usually means that its primary function is pasteurization, however, for the certain products it also carries out the warming function in order to prevent condensation. In this case, we add a software update to the tunnel pasteurizer.
We developed craft tunnel pasteurizer in order to start helping smaller manufacturers in the beverage industry. It includes all the same functionalities as its bigger brothers, but at the same time it is just the right size to suit the needs of a smaller producers as well.
