In Petek Proces we also produce cooling tunnels with a retention zone at pasteurization temperature.
The basic purpose of using a cooling tunnel is to provide the organoleptic characteristics (taste, color, aroma, etc.) for products that are hot filled.
A cooling tower, fresh water, spring water or chiller are usually used as an external cooling source. Typically, a plate heat exchanger is an integral part of the equipment to ensure that the water sprayed on the packaging does not mix with the external refrigerant.
With our machines, we also enable energy savings in conjunction with flow pasteurizers, which heat the product before filling.
The machines are controlled automatically.
Non-cylindrical packaging is often used on cooling tunnels and that’s why we developed various feeding devices for the smooth transfer of packaging from inlet / outlet conveyors to the main chain.
